This Indian santoor has 15 left and 16 right courses, 3 strings per course. Hammers play along metal strings providing an exotic sound. The santoor, or santur, is derived from the ancient Mesopotamian Psantir. It is struck with delicate wooden hammers. Includes hammers and nylon bag.
